Useful instructions come before a large library. Our guides are original editorial resources, prepared with AI assistance and reviewed for internal consistency, terminology and clarity.

What review means

Editorial review checks whether instructions are clear, stitch-count examples are consistent, and US and UK terminology are kept separate. It does not replace a physical test of a crochet project.

Patterns need maker testing

Our project patterns and small practice exercises are explicitly labeled as written drafts awaiting maker testing. We do not currently publish maker-tested finished-project patterns. A finished-project pattern must identify its terminology, materials, dimensions, gauge where relevant, stitch counts and testing status. Only a pattern made and checked by a real person may be labeled maker-tested.

Images and attribution

The homepage, lesson, journal and project cover photographs are AI-generated editorial concept images, not photographs of tested samples. They can suggest color and styling, but the written instructions define the project. Video cards use thumbnails associated with their linked YouTube video IDs and name the original publisher. These thumbnails are not Cozy Pattern Lane-generated demonstrations. Construction diagrams explain folds or placement and do not represent a stitch chart. We do not invent makers, reader reviews or credentials.
